The PARKER PP6MRS4 is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe fitting configured as a male swivel run tee. It accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing on the push-in ports and transitions to a 1/4 inch NPTF male threaded connection at the branch. Constructed from white polypropylene, this fitting is rated to 150 psi and is designed for low-pressure fluid and pneumatic lines. The swivel feature on the male thread simplifies installation in tight or awkward orientations without stressing the tubing. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors use this type of fitting where quick, tool-free tube connections are required alongside a threaded pipe transition.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC condensate and drain lines, pneumatic control tubing, and water treatment or filtration systems. The push-to-connect design allows field technicians to make reliable tube connections without compression sleeves or ferrules, reducing installation time. The 1/4 inch NPTF thread provides a pressure-tight seal when assembled to a matching female port.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing with a 1/4 inch NPTF male threaded port, typical of residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC fluid handling lines.
Installation does not require special tools for the push-to-connect ports — ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely before insertion. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPTF male threads in accordance with standard plumbing practice and applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines. Depressurize and drain the line before servicing or replacing any fitting. Verify that the fluid, temperature, and pressure conditions of the application are within the polypropylene material rating before installation.
