The PARKER PP4VTEU6-MG is a bi-directional manual ball valve configured as a tube elbow union, designed to connect and isolate fluid lines in a 90-degree orientation. Built with a polypropylene body and EPDM seals, it is rated for full-port flow at up to 150 psi and 10 bar working pressure. The wedge-style handle provides positive quarter-turn shutoff. It accepts a 1/4 inch tube OD on one end and a 3/8 inch NPTF threaded connection on the other, making it a hybrid fitting-valve solution suited for plumbing, water treatment, and fluid handling systems. Licensed plumbers and fluid system technicians are the primary installers.
This valve is well suited for potable water systems, food-service fluid lines, and water treatment installations where NSF and FDA compliance is required. The elbow union configuration is common in tight-space installations where an inline valve would not fit or where a directional change and isolation point are needed in the same fitting. The 1/4 inch tube OD by 3/8 inch NPTF sizing is typical of residential and light commercial water filtration and dispensing equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for fluid handling systems requiring a 1/4 inch tube OD to 3/8 inch NPTF elbow union ball valve with NSF-61 and NSF-51 compliance.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified fluid systems technician in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Depressurize and drain the line fully before removing or installing the valve. Verify that NPTF threads are properly engaged and that tube connections are seated to the specified depth before pressurizing. Do not exceed the 150 psi maximum working pressure rating or operate below 35 degrees F.
