The PARKER PP4VEU4-MG is a full-port, elbow union bi-directional manual ball valve designed for push-to-connect tubing systems. The polypropylene body and EPDM seals make it well suited for fluid control applications where corrosion resistance and a compact elbow configuration are required. A wedge-style handle provides positive open and close feedback. Rated for 1/4-inch outside diameter tubing, this valve accepts push-to-connect fittings on both ends, eliminating the need for threaded connections or additional fittings at the installation point. Plumbers and HVAC technicians install this valve where an in-line shutoff and a 90-degree flow path change are needed in the same fitting body.
This valve is appropriate for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC condensate and water distribution lines, and similar low-pressure fluid systems that use 1/4-inch OD push-to-connect tubing. The elbow union body allows the valve to serve as both a directional change fitting and a service shutoff, reducing overall component count at the connection point. Its bi-directional design means flow can enter from either push-to-connect port without affecting valve function.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for systems using 1/4-inch outside diameter push-to-connect tubing in plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off system water or fluid supply and relieve line pressure before removing or installing this valve. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely and are fully inserted to the depth stop before pressurizing the system. Consult applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for approved valve placements in potable or process water lines.
