The PARKER PP4MC6 is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe connector fitting designed to join 1/4 inch OD tubing to a 3/8 inch NPTF threaded port. Constructed from polypropylene with a tan finish, this fitting offers a maximum working pressure of 150 psi. The push-to-connect design allows tubing to be inserted and locked without tools, reducing installation time in tight spaces. It is suited for use in fluid transfer lines, pneumatic control circuits, and instrument tubing runs where a reliable male-threaded port connection is needed. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial service technicians are the primary installers.
This connector is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications involving low-pressure fluid or air lines. It is commonly installed at equipment panels, control valve ports, solenoid valve inlets, and similar threaded connection points where a transition from rigid or semi-rigid tubing to a pipe-threaded fitting is required. The polypropylene body is compatible with many non-aggressive fluids and air service lines at moderate pressures.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for use with 1/4 inch OD tubing connecting to 3/8 inch NPTF threaded ports in low-to-moderate pressure fluid and pneumatic systems.
Installation is performed by qualified plumbing, HVAC, or industrial service technicians. Shut off all fluid or air supply and depressurize the line before disassembling or installing any fitting. Ensure the mating NPTF port is clean and threads are in good condition before making up the connection. Verify that the tubing end is cut squarely and deburred before inserting into the push-to-connect collet to ensure a proper seal.
