The PARKER P2FCA448 is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise fluid control in industrial and process applications. The valve body is constructed from thermoplastic and uses an FKM fluorocarbon seal, making it well suited for compatibility with a range of fluid media where elastomer resistance matters. It operates on 24 volts DC and handles working pressures from 22 psi up to 232 psi. The coil is rated Class F and meets IP 65 ingress protection, confirming suitability for wet or dusty environments. Licensed technicians and automation specialists are the typical installers of this valve in process piping, irrigation, and fluid handling systems.
The P2FCA448 is specified for use with the Parker Viking Xtreme Valve platform. Its ISO 4400 Form A coil lead interface accepts a 20 mm square 3-pin connector, which is standard across many industrial solenoid valve assemblies. The valve is appropriate for light commercial and industrial fluid control circuits where a compact, direct-acting design and a normally closed fail-safe state are required. Maximum rated fluid temperature is 158 degrees F (60 degrees C), which fits a broad range of water, oil, and chemical service conditions within the stated pressure envelope.
Specified for use with the Parker Viking Xtreme Valve. The 20 mm square 3-pin ISO 4400 Form A coil lead is compatible with standard industrial solenoid valve coil connectors using that interface.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid control systems and low-voltage DC wiring. De-energize the circuit and depressurize the line completely before disassembly or valve replacement. Verify that the fluid media and operating temperature are within the rated limits before commissioning. Coil connector wiring should comply with applicable electrical codes and the connector must be fully seated and latched to maintain IP 65 protection.
