The PARKER NV101F-4-2 is an angled needle valve designed for precise flow control in refrigeration, HVAC, and related fluid-handling systems. Built with a brass body and brass needle, it connects a 1/4-inch flare fitting on one end to a 1/8-inch male NPT fitting (MNPTF) on the other. The angled configuration makes it well suited for tight installation spaces where a straight valve would be difficult to access or service. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure, it handles operating temperatures from -45 degrees F to 250 degrees F. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers of this valve.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial refrigeration and HVAC applications where a low-flow shutoff or metering point is needed. The flare-to-MNPTF end configuration is common at service ports, gauge manifold connections, and instrument taps. The angled body allows installation in line arrangements where a 90-degree change in flow path is needed. It is sold individually and is suitable wherever a compact, all-brass angled needle valve with standard refrigeration flare and NPT connections is required.

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or refrigeration mechanic. Isolate and recover any refrigerant charge and relieve system pressure before removing or installing this valve. Flare connections require proper flare preparation and should be torqued to the fitting manufacturer's specification using appropriate flare wrenches. NPT threads should be sealed with a compatible thread sealant rated for the intended service fluid and temperature range.
