The PARKER N19R30A is a string-wound cartridge filter designed for plumbing and water filtration applications. Constructed with a nylon string-wound media over a polypropylene core, it delivers mechanical filtration at a 10 micron rating, capturing sediment, particulate, and suspended solids from supply lines. The cartridge measures 2.5 inches in outside diameter and 30 inches in length, fitting standard housings sized for this form factor. It is rated for a maximum working temperature of 120 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the primary installers for this type of filter element.
This cartridge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where sediment reduction is required ahead of fixtures, water heaters, or treatment equipment. Typical installations include whole-house filtration systems, point-of-entry setups, and pre-filtration stages upstream of reverse osmosis or softening equipment. The 10 micron rating targets fine particulate while maintaining adequate flow rates for most residential service lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement cartridge for standard 30 inch string-wound filter housings accepting a 2.5 inch outside diameter cartridge element.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before opening the filter housing. Inspect the housing O-ring and replace it if worn or deformed before seating the new cartridge. Do not exceed the rated maximum working temperature of 120 degrees F in the installation location.
