The PARKER MP11032 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection in compression-style tube fittings. The sleeve, also referred to as a ferrule, seats between the fitting body and the compression nut, biting into the tube wall as the nut is tightened to form a pressure-rated mechanical seal. It is sized for tubing with a 1/4 inch outside diameter and is constructed from brass, making it well suited for use in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and instrumentation tubing systems. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this component as part of a complete compression fitting assembly.
This sleeve is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever compression-style tube connections are specified. Typical installations include copper and compatible soft tubing runs for refrigerant lines, water supply connections, and pneumatic or instrumentation tubing. The 1/4 inch OD sizing covers one of the most common small-bore tubing dimensions found in HVAC and plumbing service work. The MP11032 is packaged in quantities of 25, making it a practical bench stock item for service technicians who regularly perform compression fitting work.
Designed as an OEM-style compression sleeve for use with standard compression fittings accepting 1/4 inch OD tubing in HVAC, plumbing, and instrumentation applications.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the tubing line before disassembling any existing fitting. The sleeve is positioned over the tube end before inserting the tube into the fitting body, then secured by tightening the compression nut to the manufacturer-specified feel without over-torquing, which can crack or deform the sleeve. Do not reuse a previously compressed sleeve, as it will not re-seal reliably.
