The PARKER MBA1M10 is a thermally bonded meltblown polypropylene filter cartridge rated at 1 micron, designed for liquid filtration applications in commercial and industrial systems. Measuring 10 inches in length with an outside diameter of 2.5 inches, this cartridge fits standard filter housings used in water treatment, process fluid, and point-of-entry filtration systems. The meltblown construction creates a graduated density matrix throughout the polypropylene media, allowing it to capture sediment, particulate, and dirt down to 1 micron. It handles flow rates up to 5.00 GPM and operates at temperatures up to 180 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, water treatment technicians, and mechanical contractors are the typical installers.
This cartridge is suited for residential and light commercial liquid filtration installations where fine sediment removal is required. Common applications include whole-house sediment filters, pre-filters for reverse osmosis systems, process water lines, and cooling tower makeup water systems.
