The PARKER KP23827 is a push-to-connect tube-to-male NPT connector fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this straight connector accepts 1/8 inch OD tubing on one end and threads into a 1/8 inch male NPT port on the other. It is rated to 290 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -4 degrees F to 175 degrees F. The push-to-connect design allows tubing to be inserted and locked without ferrules, compression sleeves, or wrenches, reducing assembly time in line and panel work.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control lines, instrumentation tubing, and compressed-air distribution applications. Typical install scenarios include connecting small-diameter tubing to manifolds, solenoid valve ports, pressure sensors, and threaded fittings on HVAC controls, pneumatic actuators, and fluid-transfer panels. It is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and instrumentation mechanics working with 1/8 inch OD tubing in low- to medium-pressure systems. Each package contains 5 fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect connector for systems using 1/8 inch OD tubing and 1/8 inch NPT threaded ports in pneumatic control, instrumentation, and fluid-transfer applications.
Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before insertion to achieve a proper seal and prevent internal damage to the collet. Verify that tubing OD matches the fitting rating exactly, as mismatched tubing will not seal reliably. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with applicable pneumatic or plumbing codes.
