The PARKER HN2L-6CW is a coalescing compressed air filter designed to remove oil aerosols, liquid water, and sub-micron particulates from compressed air systems. Rated at 0.01 micron, it delivers high-efficiency filtration suitable for process air, instrumentation, and pneumatic tool supply lines that require clean, dry air. The filter flows up to 50 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) through a 1/2 inch NPT port, making it appropriate for small to mid-sized compressed air systems. The aluminum bowl and body construction keep weight low while holding up to the pressures common in industrial and trade environments. This filter is suited for applications where oil carryover from the compressor must be reduced to very low levels before air reaches downstream equipment. Typical installations include instrument air headers, spray finishing lines, pneumatic actuator supply, and any compressed air branch serving sensitive controls or sensors. The manual drain allows the technician to purge collected liquid at scheduled service intervals. Designed as an OEM-style coalescing filter for compressed air branch lines using 1/2 inch NPT piping, compatible with standard compressed air systems operating within the flow and pressure ratings of the Parker Series H filter line.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system work. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing any existing filter or fitting the new unit. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to the NPT threads and torque to standard pipe thread engagement. Orient the bowl downward to allow proper liquid collection and ensure the manual drain is accessible for routine service.
