The PARKER gbw.un387812030b is a pre-insulated suction line lineset designed for unitary HVAC systems. It pairs a bare copper coil for the liquid line with a factory-pre-insulated suction line, eliminating the need for field-applied insulation on the suction side. The suction line measures 3/8 to 7/8 inches in diameter with 1/2-inch wall insulation and runs 30 feet in length. The outer polyethylene jacket protects the closed-cell foam insulation from tearing during the pull-through and routing process. Foot markings are printed incrementally along the insulation to help technicians verify initial refrigerant charge length and reduce copper waste on the job site.
This lineset is suited for residential and light commercial split-system installations where a pre-insulated suction line is preferred for speed and consistency. The insulation is compatible with high-pressure refrigerant applications including R-410A systems. The outer jacket is available in black or white and is paintable, making it appropriate for exposed exterior runs where aesthetics or UV protection is a concern. Installation under plastic duct is also an acceptable routing method per manufacturer guidance.
Designed as an OEM-style pre-insulated suction line replacement or new-installation lineset for residential and light commercial unitary split-system HVAC applications using high-pressure refrigerants such as R-410A.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician following applicable mechanical codes. Shut down and recover all refrigerant from the system before disconnecting or modifying any refrigerant lines. The manufacturer strongly recommends completely sealing the cut ends of the copper pipe when connecting to the AC unit to prevent water or contaminants from entering the insulation. When installed in exposed exterior areas, apply a high-quality exterior paint over the outer jacket for added weather and UV protection.
