The PARKER gbw.un385812030b is a suction-line-only insulated lineset designed for unitary split-system air conditioning applications. It pairs a bare copper suction line with a pre-insulated liquid line, eliminating the need for field-applied insulation on the liquid side. The suction line tube runs from 3/8 inches to 5/8 inches in diameter, the liquid line measures 1/2 inch in diameter, and the total lineset length is 30 feet. The outer jacket is a durable polyethylene cover that protects the foam insulation from tearing during pull-through and routing. Incremental foot markings on the insulation allow technicians to verify line length accurately and minimize copper waste during the initial system charge.
This lineset is suited for residential and light commercial unitary HVAC installations where a factory-insulated, ready-to-run lineset saves labor time. It is rated for use with high-pressure refrigerants including R-410A. The UV-resistant insulation is formulated to withstand outdoor exposure for a minimum of three years without degradation, making it appropriate for rooftop, exposed wall, or exterior-mounted system runs. The insulation surface is also paintable, allowing the installed lineset to be finished to match surrounding surfaces when aesthetics are a job requirement.
Designed for unitary split-system air conditioning and heat pump installations requiring a suction-line-only insulated lineset with a pre-insulated liquid line. Suitable for high-pressure refrigerant systems.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians. De-energize and recover refrigerant from any existing system before disconnecting or modifying linesets per EPA Section 608 requirements. Completely seal the open ends of the copper pipe when connecting to the AC unit to prevent water or debris from entering the insulation. When installing in continuously exposed exterior areas, apply a high-quality exterior paint over the insulation surface and consider routing under plastic duct for added protection.
