The PARKER A8VC8-MG is an inline check valve with push-to-connect fittings on both ends, designed to allow one-directional fluid flow and prevent backflow in fluid handling and distribution systems. The body is constructed from acetal with an EPDM seal, rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and a temperature range of 34 degrees F to 150 degrees F. A low crack pressure of 0.33 psi allows the valve to open with minimal upstream pressure. It meets NSF/ANSI 51 and NSF/ANSI 61 standards, making it suitable for food equipment and potable water applications. Licensed plumbers and fluid system technicians are the typical installers.

This check valve is used in residential and light commercial fluid distribution systems where backflow prevention is required at a tubing connection point.
