The PARKER A8MTS6-MG is a push-to-connect male swivel branch tee tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in fluid handling and pneumatic systems. Constructed from polyoxymethylene (POM), a durable acetal-based thermoplastic, this fitting accepts 1/2 inch OD tubing and connects to 3/8 inch NPTF male threads. The swivel branch tee configuration allows three-way flow splitting while enabling the threaded end to rotate for alignment during installation. Rated to 250 psi, it is suited for plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial pneumatic or fluid distribution applications. EPDM O-rings provide a reliable seal across a broad service range. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial systems where push-to-connect speed and a compact tee branch are required. Typical applications include potable water distribution, compressed air lines, and HVAC condensate or fluid transfer circuits. The gray POM body resists corrosion and many common chemicals, making it appropriate for both dry and wet service environments. At 0.05 pounds, the fitting is lightweight and easy to handle in tight spaces during rough-in or retrofit work.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch OD tubing and 3/8 inch NPTF male threaded ports in push-to-connect tube-to-pipe plumbing and pneumatic assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Push tubing fully into the collet until it seats to ensure a leak-free connection; always verify full insertion before returning the system to service. Follow applicable codes including IPC and local plumbing ordinances for potable water or HVAC fluid applications.
