The PARKER A6FE6-MG is a push-to-connect female elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in fluid and pneumatic system applications. Built from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-stiffness acetal resin, this fitting accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing and connects to 3/8 inch NPTF female pipe threads. The push-to-connect design allows tool-free tube insertion and secure retention without ferrules or compression sleeves. Rated to 300 psi, it is suited for moderate-pressure lines in HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, and light fluid distribution systems. The tan coloring is characteristic of POM acetal fittings in this series.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial installations where quick, reliable tube-to-pipe transitions are needed. Typical applications include equipment panels, manifold assemblies, control lines, and instrument tubing runs. It is commonly installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals working with 3/8 inch OD flexible or semi-rigid tubing routed to NPT-threaded ports on valves, solenoids, or equipment housings.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing and 3/8 inch NPTF female pipe thread ports in pneumatic, instrumentation, or fluid distribution applications.
Installation is performed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or industrial mechanics. Before servicing any line, depressurize the system completely and purge residual fluid. Ensure tubing is cut square and deburred before insertion into the push-to-connect port to achieve a proper seal. Confirm thread engagement is hand-tight before applying final torque to the NPTF connection per applicable IPC or system manufacturer guidelines.
