The PARKER 682VL-4-4 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to a male NPT threaded port. It features a Vibra-Lok compression style, which provides a secure, vibration-resistant seal without the need for ferrule pre-assembly tools. Rated to 600 psi maximum working pressure, this connector is built for demanding fluid and pneumatic line applications. The fitting handles temperatures from -30 degrees F to 275 degrees F and meets ISO 6149 and SAE J1926 standards. It is sized with a 1/4-18 thread and connects compression tube on one end to a male NPT port on the other.
This connector is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and instrumentation tubing systems where a reliable compression-to-NPT transition is required. It is commonly installed in commercial and industrial equipment, HVAC control lines, and fluid power circuits. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial pipe fitters install this fitting when transitioning between compression tubing and NPT-threaded fittings or manifolds in both new construction and service work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation compression tube connector for systems requiring a 1/4-18 male NPT threaded port transition with compression tube end connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician, plumber, or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the fluid or pneumatic line completely before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Ensure the tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the compression fitting. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for piping systems when determining acceptable working pressures and installation practices.
