The PARKER 66NTA-8-8 is a brass compression tube connector designed for use in pneumatic and fluid-line applications where a reliable, leak-resistant connection between a compression fitting and a female NPT port is required. This connector features a compression inlet on one end and a 1/2-inch FNPT thread on the other, with a maximum working pressure rating of 150 psi and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards, making it suitable for vehicle and mobile equipment brake and fluid-system work. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and fleet-maintenance technicians typically install this fitting where tubing must transition to a threaded port.
This connector is commonly used in compressed-air, hydraulic brake, and fuel-line plumbing on commercial vehicles, trailers, and mobile equipment where DOT-compliant fittings are required. De-pressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any fitting.
