The PARKER 66HD-2-2 is a brass compression tube connector designed to create a secure, leak-free transition between a compression tube end and a female NPT threaded port. Built from solid brass, this fitting handles demanding fluid and gas line applications with a rated maximum working pressure of 4,300 psi. The 1/8 inch thread size makes it well suited for small-bore instrumentation and control tubing runs. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipefitters wherever a reliable compression-to-female-pipe connection is required.
This connector is used in residential and commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration lines, pneumatic control circuits, hydraulic instrumentation loops, and general plumbing applications where a compression tube must terminate at a female NPT port. Its compact 1/8 inch size is common in control-line and sensing-line installations where space is limited and pressure integrity is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement compression connector for small-bore fluid and gas line fittings using 1/8 inch female NPT threaded ports in HVAC, plumbing, and instrumentation systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC codes. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Use an appropriate thread sealant on the FNPT threads and ensure the compression ferrule is properly seated before tightening the compression nut. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as over-compression can deform the ferrule and cause leaks.
