The PARKER 66CA-6-8 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join a compression tube end to a female National Pipe Taper Fitting (FNPT) port. This fitting is used in fluid and pneumatic lines where a secure, leak-resistant mechanical connection is required between a tubing run and a threaded female port. Machined from brass, the 66CA-6-8 carries a maximum working pressure of 1000 psi and a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters working on compressed air, refrigeration, fuel, or hydraulic tubing systems.
The 66CA-6-8 fits residential and light commercial applications where compression-to-female-NPT transitions are needed. Common install scenarios include connecting copper or brass tubing to threaded manifolds, valves, regulators, and instrument ports. The thread standard is NPTF, which provides a pressure-tight seal at the threads themselves, reducing dependence on tape or thread sealant for leak prevention.
