The PARKER 63NTA-6 is a stainless steel compression tube insert designed for use with 3/8-inch outside diameter tubing in compression fitting assemblies. This insert fits inside the tubing end to support the tube wall and prevent collapse when the compression nut and ferrule are tightened. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The part meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. Plumbers, hydraulic system technicians, and fluid-handling specialists install this type of insert wherever tube integrity at the compression joint must be maintained.
This insert is suited for compression fitting connections in fluid and pneumatic lines where 3/8-inch OD tubing is used. Typical applications include brake line assemblies, hydraulic circuits, and other pressure-carrying tube runs in both mobile and stationary equipment. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments where corrosion resistance is required. It is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 5 units.
Designed for use with compression fittings accepting 3/8-inch outside diameter tubing where an internal support insert is required per SAE J1131 and SAE J246 specifications.
Installation is performed by plumbers or hydraulic technicians working on compression tube assemblies. Before servicing any fitting, depressurize the line completely and follow applicable system lockout procedures. The insert is seated inside the tubing end before the ferrule and compression nut are positioned. Do not reuse inserts that show deformation or corrosion, as tube support integrity cannot be guaranteed.
