The PARKER 61HD-10 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed for use in compression-style tube fittings. The sleeve, also called a ferrule, seats between the fitting body and nut to create a leak-resistant mechanical seal when the compression nut is tightened. Constructed from brass, it delivers reliable corrosion resistance and mechanical strength in fluid and gas line applications. This sleeve is a single-piece component sold individually and is a direct consumable in compression fitting assemblies used across HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, and instrumentation tubing systems.
Compression tube sleeves are used wherever compression fittings join copper, brass, or compatible soft tubing runs. Typical applications include refrigerant line service connections, water supply lines, pneumatic control tubing, and instrument sensing lines in both residential and light commercial settings. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians install these sleeves during new assembly or when replacing a damaged or deformed ferrule on an existing compression joint.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement sleeve for use with standard compression-style tube fittings in fluid and gas line assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC technicians. Before servicing any compression fitting, shut off the associated fluid or gas supply and relieve system pressure. The sleeve slides over the tubing and is captured between the fitting body and compression nut; over-tightening the nut can deform or crack the sleeve, so follow the fitting manufacturer torque guidance. Reuse of a previously compressed sleeve is generally not recommended, as the ferrule permanently deforms to the tubing during initial makeup.
