The PARKER 393PSS-6-6 is a through type tube insert designed for use with compression fittings on both ends. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, this insert fits inside soft or semi-rigid tubing to reinforce the tube wall at the compression joint, preventing collapse under clamping force. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi. The part is commonly installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics working with tubing systems that require reliable, leak-resistant compression connections in corrosive or high-moisture environments.
This insert is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, instrumentation, and fluid transfer applications where compression-style fittings are used. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for installations exposed to corrosive media, saltwater environments, or where standard brass or carbon steel components would be unsuitable. It is used wherever tubing integrity at the compression seat must be maintained for a secure, pressure-rated connection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation insert for use with standard compression fittings on compatible tubing sizes in plumbing and instrumentation systems.
This insert is installed by plumbers or instrumentation technicians working with compression tube fittings. Before installation, depressurize and drain the line completely. Insert the tube insert into the end of the tubing before seating the compression nut and ferrule onto the fitting body. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as this can deform the ferrule or damage the tubing seat.
