The PARKER 2MSC6N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join 1/8-inch OD tubing to a male NPT threaded port. It uses a compression fitting on one end and a 3/8-18 NPT male thread on the other, creating a secure, leak-resistant connection in high-demand piping and instrumentation systems. Rated to 10,900 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, this connector is built for severe-service environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in applications where tube-to-pipe transitions are required under extreme pressure or temperature conditions.
This connector is suited for use in process instrumentation, hydraulic lines, pneumatic systems, and industrial fluid handling where stainless steel construction and high-pressure ratings are required. The compression-by-MNPT configuration makes it a practical solution for connecting small-diameter tubing directly to NPT-threaded ports on valves, manifolds, gauges, and other inline components. It is appropriate for both residential and commercial applications where corrosion resistance and temperature tolerance are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install compression tube connector for systems utilizing 1/8-inch OD tubing with 3/8-18 NPT threaded ports in high-pressure instrumentation, hydraulic, or pneumatic piping configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified instrumentation technician familiar with high-pressure tubing systems. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tube before applying wrench torque; avoid over-tightening, which can deform the compression ferrule. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for pressure piping systems when selecting and installing fittings in process applications.
