The PARKER 213P-6 is a brass female pipe end cap designed to seal the open end of a threaded pipe or fitting in industrial and mechanical piping systems. It accepts a 3/8-inch female NPT thread (FNPTF) connection and is rated to 1,000 psi maximum working pressure. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability across a wide temperature range, from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. This cap is a standard component used by plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians to close off unused pipe ends or to pressure-test a piping circuit.
The PARKER 213P-6 is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and general fluid-handling systems where a reliable threaded pipe closure is required. Its FNPTF thread form provides a pressure-tight seal on standard male NPT pipe threads. The cap is commonly installed in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications wherever a 3/8-inch NPT pipe end must be plugged or capped during service, testing, or system reconfiguration.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for any piping system using standard 3/8-inch male NPT threaded pipe ends where a female-threaded end cap closure is required.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the piping circuit fully before installing or removing any threaded pipe cap. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads before hand-tightening and then wrench-tightening the cap. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 1,000 psi in service.
