The PARKER 155F-3 is a brass flared tube union designed to join two flared tubing lines in a single inline connection. It uses a 45-degree flare angle with Flare x Flare ends, accepting 3/16 inch tube OD on both sides and threading at 3/8-24 UNF. This union is rated for a maximum working pressure of 1900 psi and a maximum working temperature of 250 degrees F, making it suitable for hydraulic, refrigeration, and fuel line applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system mechanics install this fitting when connecting or repairing small-diameter tubing runs in tight-tolerance systems.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever 3/16 inch flared tubing requires a straight union connection. Common install scenarios include refrigeration line repairs, fuel delivery systems, and hydraulic control circuits. The all-brass construction resists corrosion in both wet and dry service environments. Its compact size and standard SAE flare geometry make it a direct drop-in for field repairs and new installations alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/16 inch OD flared tubing with 3/8-24 UNF threaded connections and a 45-degree SAE flare angle.
Installation should be performed by a licensed technician familiar with flared tube fittings and the applicable system type. De-pressurize and isolate the line before disassembly. Inspect the flare seat on both tubing ends for cracks or deformation before threading the union; a damaged flare will not seal at rated pressure. Do not over-torque the fitting nuts, as brass flare fittings are susceptible to seat damage from excessive force.
