The PARKER 125HB-2-2 is a brass male connector barbed hose fitting designed for low-pressure fluid and pneumatic line connections in HVAC, plumbing, and general industrial applications. It features a 1/8-inch hose barb on one end and a 1/8-inch male NPT thread on the other, allowing a technician to transition from a threaded port to a flexible hose quickly and reliably. Constructed from brass, the fitting handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 160 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of service environments. The overall length is 1.07 inches, the hex head measures 0.4375 inches across, and the barb outside diameter is 0.185 inches.
This fitting is used wherever a flexible hose must terminate at a threaded male NPT port. Typical applications include condensate drain lines, refrigerant oil return lines, low-pressure pneumatic controls, water supply tubing connections, and instrument sensing lines. HVAC service technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors install this type of fitting routinely during equipment commissioning, repair, and retrofit work. It is well suited for both residential and light commercial system service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for any 1/8-inch ID hose application requiring a 1/8-inch male NPT threaded port connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or qualified mechanical contractor. Shut off and depressurize the system before removing or installing any fittings. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per standard practice before threading into the port. Push the hose fully onto the barb and secure with an appropriate clamp to prevent blowoff under working pressure.
