The PARKER 10MSC8N-316 is a straight compression tube connector designed to join tubing to a male NPT threaded port in a single, leak-resistant fitting. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, it is built for high-pressure and extreme-temperature service, rated to 6100 psi and a temperature range of -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F. The compression end grips the tube mechanically without welding or soldering, while the MNPT end threads directly into standard NPT ports. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working in demanding fluid and gas system applications.
This connector is suited for use in industrial process lines, instrumentation tubing runs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and chemical or high-purity fluid distribution where both corrosion resistance and high-pressure integrity are required. The 1/2-14 NPT thread size is a common pipe thread found across a wide range of valves, manifolds, and equipment ports in both commercial and industrial installations. Its straight configuration simplifies in-line connections between tubing and threaded components.

Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly and NPT thread sealing practices. Shut down and depressurize the system completely before installing or removing any fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MNPT threads in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC or ASME B31.3 for process piping. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as excess force can distort the ferrule and compromise the seal.
