The PARKER 10-10 HBZ-B is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tubing runs in a single inline connection. Rated to 2000 psi maximum working pressure and measuring 2.05 inches overall length, this union fits into fluid and gas distribution systems where a leak-free, removable connection is required. The brass construction meets ASME-SB75 and ASTM-B75 standards, making it suitable for applications demanding verified material traceability. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This compression tube union is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant line assemblies, and instrumentation tubing runs where both ends of the tubing accept standard compression-style fittings. Typical installations include connecting copper tubing sections in water supply lines, fuel gas distribution, and pneumatic control circuits. The union configuration allows either side of the tubing run to be disconnected independently for service or replacement without cutting the line.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use compression union for tubing systems requiring ASME-SB75 and ASTM-B75 compliant brass fittings with compression end connections. Cross-reference Swagelok part number B-1010-6 for equivalency verification.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters following applicable IPC or IFGC requirements depending on the fluid service. Depressurize and isolate the tubing run completely before disassembling or installing compression fittings. Use a proper tubing cutter to ensure a clean, square cut before inserting the ferrule and nut. Do not over-tighten compression nuts, as brass ferrules are not designed for re-use once fully seated.
