The PANDUIT ttsl-2 is a self-laminating component label designed for professional wire, cable, and component identification in electrical and low-voltage wiring applications. The label features a clear laminate overlay that protects the printed legend from abrasion, moisture, and chemical exposure, extending the legibility of the identification markings over the service life of the installation. The label stock is constructed from GMV3 vinyl and produces a clear legend area over a white background panel. Dimensions are 1.5 inches in length by 1 inch in width. Thermal transfer printing is required for use.
This label is suited for use in electrical panels, control enclosures, and data or low-voltage wiring systems where durable component marking is required. Electricians, controls technicians, and low-voltage installers use self-laminating labels to comply with NEC and industry labeling standards for circuit identification. The clear laminate wrap secures around the wire or component after printing, keeping the legend readable in environments where labels are subject to handling, cleaning solvents, or UV exposure.
Designed for use with thermal transfer printers. Consult the PANDUIT label compatibility guide to confirm printer and ribbon compatibility before ordering.
De-energize all circuits before applying labels to live panel wiring per NEC requirements. Print the label using a compatible thermal transfer printer and allow ink to set before applying. Wrap the clear laminate section around the wire or component, pressing firmly to ensure full adhesion. Avoid applying labels to surfaces contaminated with oil or moisture, as adhesion may be compromised.
