The PANDUIT TLBP2S-V is a tool-less blanking panel rated for 2U of rack space, designed to cover unused rack unit openings in open-frame and enclosed equipment racks. Blanking panels block airflow bypass, forcing conditioned air through active equipment instead of escaping through empty bays. This improves cooling efficiency and helps maintain proper thermal management in data center, server room, and network closet environments. Installation requires no tools or hardware, allowing technicians and IT infrastructure professionals to quickly fill vacant rack positions during equipment moves, adds, or changes.
The TLBP2S-V is suited for use in rack cabinets and open-frame racks where airflow management is a priority. It is appropriate for data center buildouts, network closet deployments, and any structured cabling or equipment rack installation where empty 1U or multi-U gaps would otherwise allow hot aisle air to recirculate into the cold aisle. The tool-less design makes it practical for frequent reconfigurations without requiring additional hardware.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or supplemental blanking panel for standard EIA 19-inch equipment racks and rack cabinets used in data center and network infrastructure applications.
Installation is performed by rack and infrastructure technicians without tools. Power down or de-energize adjacent active equipment per site safety procedures before working inside enclosed rack cabinets. Ensure the panel snaps securely into the rack rail mounting points before closing cabinet doors. Follow applicable data center infrastructure and electrical safety guidelines when servicing live rack environments.
