The PANDUIT LCC6-10AW-L is a two-hole copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical power distribution systems. Copper construction provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, making this lug suitable for both grounding and power circuit applications. The compression-style connection method creates a gas-tight mechanical bond between the conductor and the lug barrel when properly installed with a compatible compression tool. Electricians and electrical contractors working on commercial and industrial panel terminations, switchgear, and bus connections commonly specify this type of lug.
This two-hole lug is used in applications where a bolted, mechanically stable connection to a bus bar, transformer lug pad, or equipment terminal is required. The dual-hole mounting configuration distributes mechanical stress across two fastener points, reducing the chance of rotation under vibration or thermal cycling. It is appropriate for use in residential service entrance work, commercial electrical panels, and light industrial distribution equipment where copper conductors are being terminated.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use in copper conductor electrical termination applications. Consult PANDUIT documentation for specific conductor range, die index, and compatible compression tool requirements before installation.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conductor terminations. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use only the compression tool and die index specified by PANDUIT for this lug to achieve a proper crimp — under-crimping or over-crimping will compromise joint integrity.
