The PANDUIT LCAXN1/0-38-X is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical power distribution and grounding applications. This single-hole lug is installed by crimping onto a conductor using a compatible compression tool, creating a gas-tight connection that resists loosening, corrosion, and vibration over time. Copper construction provides excellent conductivity and durability in demanding electrical environments. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this type of termination hardware in both commercial and industrial settings.
This compression lug is suited for use in panel terminations, switchgear, motor control centers, bus connections, and grounding assemblies. The single-hole mounting configuration allows direct attachment to lugs, terminals, and bus bars in confined enclosures. Its copper material makes it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor applications where reliable conductor termination is required. This lug is sold individually as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use in standard electrical panel, switchgear, and grounding termination applications requiring a single-hole copper compression connector.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before handling any conductors or terminations. Use only a compression tool rated for the conductor size and lug type to ensure a proper crimp. Inspect the completed crimp for correct die index and confirm the lug is seated flush before torquing the mounting hardware to the bus or terminal.
