The PANDUIT LCAX350-38H-6 is a copper compression lug designed for making secure, low-resistance electrical terminations in power distribution and grounding applications. Copper construction provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The single-hole mounting configuration allows the lug to be bolted directly to a busbar, terminal block, or equipment stud. This type of compression lug is installed by licensed electricians and electrical contractors working on service entrance, panel, switchgear, and heavy feeder circuits where a permanent, high-integrity connection is required.
Copper compression lugs of this type are used in both residential and commercial electrical installations. They are suited for service entrance terminations, main distribution panels, motor control centers, and grounding electrode conductor connections. The compression-style termination requires a hydraulic or ratchet compression tool to properly seat the barrel around the conductor, ensuring a gas-tight joint that meets NEC requirements for permanent wiring methods.
Designed as an OEM-style compression termination lug for use in residential and commercial electrical panel, switchgear, and power distribution wiring applications where a single-hole compression lug termination is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. Use a calibrated hydraulic or ratchet compression tool sized for the lug barrel to achieve a proper crimp. Do not use open-flame or solder methods to seat a compression lug.
