The PANDUIT JP2W-L is a J-hook style cable support designed to organize and route low-voltage and communication cables in commercial and residential installations. It provides a secure, open cradle that keeps cable bundles off structural surfaces without pinching or compressing the cable jacket. Electricians and low-voltage technicians use this type of support to maintain proper bend radius and reduce stress on data, voice, and fiber runs throughout a building. The J-Pro 2 system is built for straightforward installation in drop ceilings, open plenum spaces, and stud bays.
This cable support is suited for structured cabling projects including Cat5e, Cat6, and coaxial runs in office buildings, schools, and multi-unit residential construction. It is typically installed by licensed electricians or low-voltage cabling contractors during rough-in or finish phases. The open J-hook design allows cables to be added or removed without cutting ties, making it practical for phased or retrofitted cabling work.
Designed as an OEM-style component within the PANDUIT J-Pro 2 Cable Support System for use in structured cabling and low-voltage wiring installations.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or low-voltage cabling contractors. De-energize any adjacent circuits before working in the installation area. Follow NEC Article 800 requirements for communication wiring support spacing and plenum-rated material use where applicable. Do not over-bundle cables in a single support in a way that exceeds the cradle capacity or causes deformation of the cable jacket.
