The PANDUIT F92ERB1LNSNM003 is an OS2 singlemode fiber optic patch cable designed for structured cabling installations requiring low insertion loss and reliable long-distance signal transmission. Built with a 1.6mm duplex cordage construction and OFNR-rated jacket, this cable is terminated with LC APC connectors on each end. The angled physical contact (APC) polish on the LC connectors delivers reduced back-reflection performance compared to standard UPC terminations, making it well-suited for applications where return loss is critical. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the primary installers of this assembly.
This patch cable is used in singlemode fiber optic networks found in commercial buildings, data centers, enterprise campus environments, and telecom rooms. The 2-fiber duplex configuration supports full-duplex transmission over a single cable assembly. The OFNR jacket rating makes it appropriate for use in riser-rated pathways between floors in commercial and institutional structures. It connects active equipment such as switches, transceivers, and media converters to patch panels or other fiber termination points.
Designed as an OEM-style factory-terminated patch cable compatible with LC APC-port singlemode fiber optic equipment and patch panels in OS2 singlemode fiber infrastructure.
This assembly is installed by low-voltage cabling technicians or licensed electricians following applicable NEC riser cabling requirements. Inspect each connector end-face for contamination before mating and clean with approved fiber optic cleaning tools if needed. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cordage during routing or dressing, and avoid sharp kinks that can cause microbend loss. Power down or disable active optical transceivers at the port before inserting or removing the connector.
