The PANDUIT F62ELLNLNSNM044 is a duplex multimode fiber optic patch cable built for structured cabling installations in commercial and industrial environments. Constructed with OM1 62.5-micron multimode fiber, this cable features a 1.6mm duplex jacket rated LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) for installations where flame spread and toxic smoke emission must be minimized. LC connectors on each end are polished to PC (Physical Contact) specification, reducing back-reflection and insertion loss at patch panel and active equipment connections. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the primary installers of this assembly.
This patch cable is suited for horizontal and backbone fiber runs in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and enterprise LAN environments. The LSZH jacket rating makes it appropriate for plenum-adjacent or enclosed spaces where local fire and building codes restrict PVC-jacketed cable use. The duplex LC form factor aligns with standard SFP transceiver ports, fiber patch panels, and media converters commonly found in structured cabling systems. The 2-fiber configuration supports full-duplex transmission over OM1 multimode infrastructure.
Designed as an OEM-style assembly for OM1 multimode fiber infrastructure using LC duplex port equipment such as patch panels, switches, and media converters.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage cabling technician or electrician familiar with structured cabling standards such as ANSI/TIA-568. Deactivate or power down connected active equipment before disconnecting or connecting fiber patch cables to prevent optical power exposure. Avoid sharp bend radii below the cable minimum bend radius to prevent signal degradation. Inspect LC ferrule end-faces for contamination before mating and clean with appropriate fiber optic cleaning tools.
