The PANDUIT CMDDYLLCZAW is a Mini-Com keyed duplex module designed for structured cabling installations. This accessory provides a duplex configuration with a keyed locking mechanism, preventing unauthorized removal or accidental disconnection of patch cords and inserts. It is intended for use in telecommunications rooms, data centers, and horizontal cabling runs where port security and cable management are priorities. Licensed low-voltage technicians and network infrastructure installers are the primary trades working with this component.
This module fits into standard Mini-Com faceplates, surface-mount boxes, and patch panels that accept Mini-Com series inserts. The keyed duplex format accommodates two insert positions side by side, making it well suited for high-density patching environments in both commercial and enterprise network applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and expansion component for structured cabling systems that accept Mini-Com series modular inserts and faceplates.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling technicians in accordance with applicable TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any active patch panel ports and remove existing patch cords before seating or removing keyed modules. Standard low-voltage hand tools are sufficient for installation. Verify faceplate or panel compatibility with the Mini-Com keyed duplex form factor before ordering.
