Packard PTMJ189 is a dry electrolytic, non-polarized motor start capacitor rated 189–227 µF at 220–250 VAC. It is designed for intermittent-duty AC motor starting circuits, rated for 3-second starts and up to 20 starts per hour. The round molded phenolic/plastic case measures 2-1/16 in diameter by 3-3/8 in height, includes standard dual blade terminals, and is specified for 50/60 Hz operation and -40 to 65 °C temperature range.
