The OSG 8692340 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding metal-cutting applications. It features a 3.4 mm diameter, a 140-degree drill point angle, and an EgiAs coating that extends tool life in abrasive and hard-material conditions. The R-thinned point promotes self-centering and reduces thrust force at entry. With an overall length of 86 mm and a flute length of 31 mm, this bit is sized for standard jobber-reach drilling. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and heat control in blind-hole and cross-hole work. A straight-cylindrical shank at 4.00 mm fits standard drill chucks and collets.
