The OSG 8549922 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 12 mm (0.4724 inch) cutting diameter, a 30 mm length of cut, and four flutes with a variable helix geometry that helps reduce chatter and improve chip evacuation. The Duarise coating provides enhanced surface hardness and wear resistance for extended tool life in demanding cutting conditions. This end mill is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill suits a range of milling applications including slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 10 mm shank diameter and 150 mm overall length, it fits standard collet and end mill holders common in production and job-shop environments. The single-end, right-hand cutting configuration and right-hand flute direction make it a straightforward drop-in for conventional right-hand spindle setups. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry where required.

This tool should be installed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholding torque and runout specifications.
