The OSG 655012512 is a solid carbide extra length drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. Built to Series 6550 specifications, it features a 1/8 inch (0.1250 inch decimal) cutting diameter with a 140-degree split point and an EgiAs coating for extended tool life and heat resistance. The bit includes coolant-through capability, making it well suited for deep-hole drilling where chip evacuation and thermal management are critical. The OSG 655012512 is used in production and precision machining environments where extended reach and tight tolerances are required. The straight-cylindrical shank allows direct chucking in standard collets and drill chucks without adapters.
