The OSG 651033111 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to Letter Q (0.3319 inch / 8.43 mm) for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It features a 140-degree R-thinned point that improves self-centering and reduces thrust in hard workpieces. The EgiAs coating adds wear resistance and lubricity, extending tool life in steels, alloy steels, cast iron, titanium, and titanium alloys. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and heat management during deep-hole operations. Designed for the Series 6510 line, this bit is a production-grade tool suited for CNC machining centers and manual drilling setups used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This drill bit is intended for use in blind hole, cross hole, and through-hole drilling applications where accuracy and tool longevity matter. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral flute geometry make it well suited for production runs in aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking environments. The straight-cylindrical shank with an 11/32-inch shank diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collets. It covers workpiece material codes P, K, S, and H, addressing a broad range of ferrous and exotic metal applications.
Designed as a Series 6510 solid carbide jobber drill for use in steels, alloy steels, cast iron, titanium, and titanium alloys (material codes P, K, S, H). Suitable for blind hole, cross hole, standard drilling, and self-centering applications.
This tool is installed by machinists in CNC machining centers or manual drill presses. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation, and verify that coolant lines are properly connected when using the through-coolant feature. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or inspecting the bit. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material, as solid carbide is rigid but brittle under shock loading or side pressure.
