The OSG 651028011 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding ferrous and exotic materials. Ground to a 9/32 inch (0.2813 inch decimal) diameter with a 140-degree point angle and R-thinned web, it promotes self-centering entry and reduces thrust in tough workpiece materials. The EgiAs coating extends tool life under heat and abrasion. At 118 mm overall length with a 58 mm flute length, it fits standard jobber-length applications across a wide range of CNC and manual drilling operations. A licensed machinist or toolroom technician is the typical end user.

This bit is suited for production and job-shop drilling in steel, alloy steel, cast iron, titanium, and titanium alloys. Its coolant-through design supports high-speed, deep-hole drilling cycles in blind-hole, cross-hole, and general drilling applications. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio allows clearance in deeper cuts while maintaining chip evacuation. Installation Notes
