The OSG 651026411 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built on OSG Series 6510, it features a 17/64 inch (0.2656 inch / 6.75 mm) diameter with a 140-degree R-thinned point that promotes self-centering and reduces entry thrust. The EgiAs coating improves wear resistance and surface lubricity in hard and abrasive workpiece materials. At 109.00 mm overall length with a 55.00 mm flute length and a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio, this bit suits typical jobber-length reach requirements. Cutting is right-hand spiral with a regular helix and a tapered web configuration. Diameter tolerance is held to +0 to -0.022 mm.
This drill is rated for steel, alloy steel, cast iron, titanium, and titanium alloys — ISO material codes P, K, S, and H. It handles blind hole drilling, cross-hole drilling, standard through-hole drilling, and self-centering applications. The 5/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and collet holders common in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machines in production and maintenance environments.
