The OSG 5743900 is a single-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from 3% vanadium high speed steel, it delivers good wear resistance and edge retention at moderate cutting speeds without the cost of carbide tooling. The 1 inch cutting diameter and 2 inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, peripheral milling, and light profiling. With a 30-degree spiral helix, right-hand cut, and right-hand flute geometry, it evacuates chips efficiently and reduces chatter during full-width passes.
