The OSG 5733900 is a single-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured from 3% vanadium high speed steel, it delivers solid wear resistance and edge retention at conventional cutting speeds. The 2-flute configuration provides efficient chip evacuation, making it well-suited for slotting and side milling applications where chip clearance is a priority. With a 1 inch cutting diameter, 1-5/8 inch length of cut, 1 inch shank diameter, and 4-1/8 inch overall length, this end mill fits standard milling machine and machining center toolholders without the need for reducers or adapters.

This end mill is used in general machining environments including job shops, maintenance facilities, and production floors. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and helps reduce chatter during side milling passes. The centercutting geometry allows the tool to plunge directly into the workpiece, enabling ramping and plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. Installation Notes
