The OSG 5315100 is a cobalt square end mill designed for milling operations in a wide range of metalworking applications. Built from M42 high-speed cobalt steel, it delivers elevated heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling, making it well suited for harder workpiece materials and demanding cut conditions. The cutter features a 1 inch diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree spiral helix angle with 3 flutes, balancing chip evacuation with cutting efficiency. Centercutting geometry allows both plunge and peripheral milling. This tool is uncoated and part of the OSG Series 531 family of general-purpose end mills.
