The OSG 5007100 is a spiral flute bottoming tap designed for cutting right-hand internal threads in through and blind holes. Sized at 1/2-13 UNC with a 2B class of fit, it produces threads to H5 tolerance in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 50-degree helix angle drives chips up and out of the hole, making this tap well-suited for blind-hole applications where chip evacuation is critical. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it is installed by machinists and tool-and-die trades using standard tapping equipment or CNC machining centers.
