The OSG 484-2500 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise material removal in milling operations. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for ferrous and non-ferrous metal cutting. The 4-flute, spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. At 4 inches overall length with a 1.5-inch length of cut, this is an extra-long configuration suited to applications requiring reach beyond standard tooling. The centercutting design allows plunge entry. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional CNC milling setups.

This end mill fits machining centers, CNC knee mills, and manual mills where a 0.25-inch shank is accepted. The extra-long overall length makes it appropriate for deep-pocket milling, stepped features, and applications where clearance between the spindle and workpiece is limited. Installation Notes

Install and remove tooling only with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated.
